Thank you! The decicion to do the comic with watercolors was maybe ambitious, but I am glad I stuck with it. Especially giving the atmosphere they bring that you mentioned.
hey, I really did find you randomly on my own! ^_^ or at least, I clicked on a banner ad? =P I’m assuming that’s a more passive form of advertising than the “promoting the comic” you mentioned. it’s been interesting! and hey XD when I catch up with a comic and have to wait a while for pages, I usually forget a lot of details in the meantime, which *sounds* bad, except it’s actually *good* for you because I then eventually reread the whole thing from the start to remember, and make sure my adblock is off for webcomics in particular XD definitely have enjoyed your art style quite a bit, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes! <3 you're doing great. ^______^
Ah yes! The trusted Spider forest banner. I don’t know if you are familiar with spider forest, but it is a webcomic collective I’m part off, and we do cross promotion with said banners. It is indeed a great passive promotion tool and I’m glad to hear ppl do find the comic through it! 🙂
Thank you for all the kind words! I’m excited for this new chapter I’m working on, happy the get to share it in the fall :>
Just one of your friendly neighborhood lurkers here! *waves* I think I found this comic from guest art you did for another comic. I was initially really drawn in by your unique style, but now I’m sticking around for the characters and mystery as well.
*waves back* Good to have you, fellow lurker! It’s always cool to hear ppl get drawn to the artstyle and even better when they stick for the characters & story ^^
Thank you for the support, I hope you’ll enjoy the future chapters as well!
I’ve always really liked Numb’s watercolor style. Not too many comics use watercolor but I find it affords a very pretty and etherial atmosphere.
